Anyway Kaya and I met through Instagram. They dm’ed me saying that they were visiting Montreal from Europe.
The shoot was a mix of film and digital. I was shooting my Nikon D3500 and my Canon EOS 1N on a random 100 ISO film stock I found at the camera store. The idea for the first part of the shoot was urban exploration and the finding of self. Basically, we were exploring finding your space within an urban context, or at least trying to.
Kaya brought their own idea to the second part of the shoot. They really wanted to get some photos in a black dress in the water, and we happened upon the perfect location.
